Our History

Madison Arnel
IRIS Founder |
Madison Arnel founded IRIS in 2017 as a way to bridge the gap between STEM and STEM-related fields, providing the opportunity for undergraduates to present and learn about research, and broadening the STEM community at Wake Forest and beyond. With the vision of celebrating the rich progress cross-disciplinary interactions have to offer, her goal was for attendees to open their minds and break the barriers that margin STEM fields.
Since her IRIS endeavors, Madison has graduated from Wake Forest University and is currently pursuing her dream of applying to medical school in her home state of South Carolina. Her ultimate dream is to serve communities as a physician, compassionate leader, and mentor. |
